Helping Homeless Children One Journey at a Time.
Inspired by the heart of a young girl, we provide care kits and housing support to homeless youth in Omaha, ensuring every child feels loved and seen.
A Vision from God
The Journey Project was born from a simple yet profound desire to help. While in the kitchen with her family, young Journey Brockman felt a deep calling to support the homeless community in Omaha. When her mother asked where the idea came from, Journey shared, “God made me like this, and this is something I’m supposed to do.”
Journey began making care kits for homeless children right in her family’s living room, believing that kids in difficult situations deserve to feel loved and supported. Distributed through Youth Emergency Services, these kits are a first step toward a brighter, more hopeful future for youth in our city.
Journey’s Care Kits
Journey Brockman felt called to help those in need, starting with simple care kits for homeless youth in Omaha. What began in her family’s living room is now a vital resource for organizations like Youth Emergency Services (YES). Each kit is filled with essentials and a reminder that every child is loved, supported, and never alone on their journey.
